Home Management for A Second or Seasonal Homeowner

I have new clients on Kiawah Island. I believe the homeowners are extremely relieved to finally have a reliable Home Management Company  When I initially meet these Absentee Homeowners and inspected their home, I was set back. Their old Property Management Company really let them down. First, I found serious a roof leak. The leak had gone on for so long that part of the ceiling had to be replaced. Second, I found approx. an inch of water in the pan under the water heater. This water heater was in the attic. It would have been a serious problem with in a week. Third, the gutters were filled with leaves and debris. Which, caused wood to rot on the deck below. I was able to immediately get subcontractors to fix the problems. However, had the home been inspected thoroughly as requested these issues would have never occurred.
